Jon has over 30 years of experience in a variety of sports, media, and tech companies, where he has held executive leadership and senior management positions. He is known for his ability to turn around and/or grow companies at scale. Most recently, Jon spent two years reinvigorating a public policy organization - doubling its resources and dramatically improving its reach and influence. His opinions are published widely in places like the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, National Review, The Sports Business Journal, The American Spectator, and others. From 2009 to 2016, Mr. Pritchett was the President of Club 9 Sports, a sports advisory and investment banking firm he co-founded. Pritchett managed the firm’s sports transactions business, as well as several sports technology deals. He also worked as a consultant and interim executive for i-1 biometrics, (now Athlete Intelligence), a software and hardware company leveraging technology to measure and understand sports concussions. From 2003 to 2009, Mr. Pritchett was CEO of AstroTurf USA where he oversaw the dramatic turnaround of the company. Mr. Pritchett also spent four years at IMG College as VP of National Sales - dramatically growing key accounts - and four years as president of Scheer Sports, where he ran the company’s team ownership and league consulting business. Jon did his graduate work at the University of South Carolina and his undergraduate work at Appalachian State University.
