BOA Nutrition has signed 2018 Boston Marathon champion and 50K world record holder Des Linden as a brand ambassador for Endure, a sodium replenishment oral aerosol. Linden is one of the most accomplished American distance runners of all time, with multiple top-five performances at four of the six world marathon majors. After representing Team USA at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics, she became the first American woman in 33 years to win the Boston Marathon in 2018.

Sports performance supplement company BOA Nutrition, inventor of the BOA Endure rapid sodium replenishment product, announced today that Endure has been selected as Official Endurance Salt of IRONMAN® in the North America region as well as the IRONMAN® World Championship and IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship.

“Sodium is instrumental for many other things besides just performance. It's what makes all the muscles contract. And it's what helps deliver nutritive neurotransmitter messages and if you don't have enough sodium the whole body's going to start shutting down,” Susan Kitchen, a registered dietitian and USA Triathlon Level II and IRONMAN certified endurance coach, in an interview with Advnture.

BOA Nutrition has signed an endorsement deal with top American triathlete and IRONMAN champion, Sam Long.


The company noted that the Boulder-Colorado native used BOA Endure throughout his training for the 2022 IRONMAN World Championship in St George on May 7. He wore BOA-branded headgear at the event and used Endure during the competition to aid with hydration in the hot, dry conditions in Utah.

 BOA Nutrition announced today it has signed a deal with 17-year-old forward Christian Torres of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC). Torres will be featured in the company’s brand marketing campaigns beginning this year.

BOA Nutrition announced it has inked a deal with the 7-time champion and world-record-holder in multiple obstacle course racing disciplines. Hunter McIntyre holds titles from Hyrox, Tough Mudder X, OCR, the Murph Challenge, and Broken Skull Ranch. Sports Illustrated has called him one of the 50 Fittest Humans on Earth. The company announced it has also signed Katie Knight, the 2021 World's Toughest Mudder Champion, who recently decided to pursue obstacle course racing on a more serious basis.

BOA Nutrition announced it has inked a deal with Duke's leading scorer and captain, Wendell Moore, Jr. The player will be featured in the company's new ad campaign and in social media over the next several months. Moore was one of several basketball players at Duke who began using the company's sodium replacement product, BOA ENDURE, after having problems with cramping in the second half of an early game this season.


In its first game since being ranked No. 1, Duke dropped a 71-66 decisionto Ohio State on the road on Tuesday. In that contest, star freshman Paolo Banchero didn't do his usual amount of damage as he scored just 14 points and secured five rebounds.

In addition, during the broadcast of the game, ESPN's Holly Rowe reported that Banchero is a "heavy sweater," and can loses up to seven pounds every game as a result. It was also reported that Banchero has to take a sweat test and drink a special "BOA Oxygenated Fluid" to stave off cramps.

USA Triathlon is partnering with BOA Nutrition, to make its first product, Endure, the ‘exclusive performance salt blast’ of USA Triathlon.

BOA (which stands for a Blast of Optimized Actives) is launching Endure, at the 2021 Toyota USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships on August 7-8 in Milwaukee. The new product is designed to help athletes delay the onset of fatigue by replacing lost sodium.
